Discover Modern Oushak Rugs with Refined Hand-Knotted Craftsmanship

Luxurian’s Modern Oushak collection takes the soft, breathing elegance of traditional Oushak weaving and resolves it into an even cleaner, more contemporary register — designed specifically for buyers whose interiors favour understated sophistication over pattern-heavy statement pieces. Each rug is hand-knotted by skilled artisans using premium natural wool, carrying forward the muted tonal palette and generous pile that define genuine Oushak craftsmanship, while simplifying the motif work into subtler, more abstract patterning suited to a modern living space.

Explore a Contemporary Oushak Carpet for Modern Living Space

This makes the Modern Oushak range particularly effective in open-plan living rooms, primary bedrooms and design-forward spaces where the surrounding furniture — a contemporary Fabbrica sofa, minimal architectural lines, a restrained colour scheme — calls for a rug that supports the room’s composition rather than introducing a competing focal point. The durability and luxurious hand-feel that comes from genuine hand-knotting remains fully intact; what changes is the visual register, calibrated for buyers who want their home’s texture and craftsmanship story told quietly rather than loudly.

Choose a Hand-Knotted Modern Carpet in Muted Oushak Tones

For an HNI buyer who has already invested in considered, restrained furniture choices and wants the floor treatment to match that same design discipline without sacrificing material authenticity, this collection offers exactly that balance — refined texture and colour without traditional Oushak’s more pronounced motif density. As with all of Luxurian’s carpet offerings, the true depth of wool pile, weave consistency and tonal subtlety is best experienced in person, in natural light, at the Jakkur showroom, where Luxurian’s carpet specialists can guide sizing and placement relative to the buyer’s existing interior.
